A Farewell to Love

Dearest Love,

My dear you mean so much to me.
Only you I would ever see.
But thine eyes doth meet anothers gaze.
As you tried to hide in a smokey haze.
Your lies are pitiful and weak.
Your hands, outstretched, to another they seek.
The king is my brother, my shepard, my guide.
But, sadly, even him doth helped you to hide.
I am lost to the hands of despair.
I look over the cliff, feeling the cool air.
As I right this, tears fill mine eyes.
The twinkling stars beckoning within the black skies.
Like tears from a mother.
Her infant killed by her own brother.
Only the deepest despair,
Doth fill this night's air.
You have killed my love,
So, I shall fly like a dove,
Down to the river below.
Cascading past the falling snow.
Only then may you see,
The darkness within thee.
Only then will I be free.
So goodybye my love,
I will live up above,
Amongst the angels wings,
Where I shall sing,
Gods words to all,
After one more,
Long,
Dark,
Fall.
Adieu My Love.
like a distant memory or a dream I once had...

Can you honestly feel the womans despair?
Does it flow well?

I somewhat felt it, however I think you should take away all the full stops at the end of the sentences, they just seem to stop the flow it all... ;) Maybe consider substituting them with something different?
